Le livret NV Atlas, format A3 (420 x 300 mm), inclut une trentaine de cartes papier de différentes échelles, un code pour télécharger ces mêmes cartes et un logiciel de navigation sur ordinateur, tablette ou smartphone. Les cartes se rangent et s'utilisent facilement et il reste aisé d'établir sa route au crayon, une fois ouvert le livret le plaisancier retrouve le format A2. Ce format pratique donne la possibilité aux passionnés de sports nautiques de s'orienter rapidement et distingue les cartes NV Charts des cartes pliantes classiques. La FR3 offre entre outre un port vraiment attractif avec Saint-Malo, qui se trouve dans le nord de la Bretagne.
